I am Dr. Grant Reschenthaler.
I was born and raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and graduated with a Biology degree from The Behrend College in 2008. I returned to the Steel City and earned my DMD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2012.
After Dental School, I commissioned in the United States Navy as a Lieutenant and pursued an extra year of training at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. While there I expanded my scope and depth of skills to provide multidisciplinary oral health care for a wide variety of patients including those with special needs.
After residency, I had the wonderful opportunity to serve as the only dentist on the war ship LSD-41 USS Whidbey Island. I provided a wide variety of care including surgical, endodontic, and esthetic cases to the sailors and marines attached to the ship. In August 2015, I received orders to Naval Hospital Bremerton. While serving here, my wife and I fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. We could not imagine living anywhere else and decided to stay put following my honorable discharge from the Navy in 2017.
I have an authentic passion for dentistry. Whether it is relieving pain, engineering the perfect smile, or educating patients on ideal home care, I find gratification in serving my patients. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking with my two dogs, cycling, camping, swimming, and hanging out with our son Evan.
